After the onset of the Corona Pandemic, i started to interact with several people from different walks of life on their lives and enterprises. Here I have the same available as a podcast.

About Me

‘Harmony of the Heart’ was the title given to me as I took my precepts with Zen Buddhist Teacher, Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh in the 1990s. Few years later in 1998, along with my wife, I started a social consulting company, “Samanvaya”, meaning Harmony in Sanskrit. Today I transact the space between consulting, academia, policy making and activism. That which defines almost all my work is the quest to find a harmony within myself through work, and this reflects in the work I do - bringing people, resources and ideas together for a better planet. The struggle to maintain a balance and harmony is my life’s challenge and the brief moments of joy are when the balance reaches perfection in action.

Why HARMONIZE?

‘Things were in a state of harmony before they were disturbed’ says the old scripture.
The human quest to understand led to divisions to understand. This led us to better appreciation of every being's unique purpose, but, also embedded differences like ‘us’ and ‘them’ in our minds.

More than ever before today, a call to be rooted in harmony is essential to break our divisiveness and create holistic ventures, it is nowhere more pronounced than in the social sector.

Resonated with so much in your presentation. Similarities between problems in India & Nigeria like loss of access to traditional knowledge systems, the market for organic farming, and the need to engage with community members to create solutions.

The ‘Brainstorming Young Volunteers in Rural Areas’ workshop taught a lot. The story telling at campfire was a first experience of learning through real examples of life. Rama Sir’s facilitation is awesome.
